Oz post 5 – 21st September 11.06

Well I’m refreshed after a shower and a fresh set of clothes. Sat at kurraba wharf waiting for the ferry to take me into the city. Sat with the sun shining on my back, water lapping around me and the sound of tropical birds tweeting in the trees and views of the city skyline and the harbour bridge. So far so good, thumbs up for Sydney!

The London clipper is not a patch on these ferries. Sun shining, no smog, clear waters, fantastic views of the opera house and harbour bridge. I nearly squealed with excitement when the boat sped round the corner and suddenly both appeared into view! I definitely sat on the right side of the boat! :-)

Wow I can’t believe I’m actually here! Sat in the singing outside the opera house watching the world go by. Beautiful sunshine and loving the snatches of Ozzie accents as people go about their everyday lives, blissfully unaware of the awesomeness that surrounds them, that myself and so many other visitors have come to admire. I am really not surprised that a third of Sydneysiders are born overseas!
